Are we crazy?

Our 1923 bungalow really needed a facelift. After investigating, I found the original clapboard siding was buried under two additional layers of siding. The outer most being asbestos siding, and asphalt siding under that. Restore the original siding? Is that possible? I'm game...let's do it!
